Terms And Conditions

Please assure you agree with our terms & conditions before booking onto any of our courses.

Legal Obligations → All pupils must be in possession of a current provisional driving licence, and meet the health and eyesight requirements. You must be able to read (with glasses or contact lenses, if necessary) a car number plate from 20 metres.
Appointments → Whilst every care is taken to ensure pupils will receive tuition at the time arranged, and in the vehicle booked for them; All appointments are made on the understanding that Syed Driving School accepts no responsibility for lessons postponed due to mechanical breakdown or other circumstances beyond our control. In this event another appointment will be made as soon as possible. Syed Driving School has no control over the postponement of driving tests by the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA).
Payment → The first lesson payment is due at the time of booking this ensures we dont double book and the slot is reserved entirely for you, all future lesson payments are due at least 24 hours before lesson commences this gives time for funds to clear, and is not permitted to fall into arrears, payment can be made by cash, bank transfer into our bank account,
Block Bookings → A block booking of 4,5,8 or 10 hours must be completed within 4,5,8 or 10 weeks or the remaining hours will be forfeited. (Exceptions will be made for pre arranged holidays)
Cancellations → Cancellations of lessons with less than 48 hours notice will be charged as having taken place and as such charged at full cost. One week notice is required for intensive courses or block Bookings Admin fees apply.
Penalties → Whenever you are driving in the school vehicle, you will be under close supervision. However, Syed Driving School cannot be held responsible for any infringement of the law. Any fines that are incurred will be the responsibility of the driver.
Driving Tests → Syed Driving School reserves the right to with hold the schools vehicle if the instructor believes that you are not test standard.
